How good do you look inside?
Ladies, nowadays if we don’t got it we can buy it in a can, or a pump, we can buy it in a package, on a weft, we can sew it on, draw it in, nip it, tuck it, enhance it, move it to where we want it, spray it on, glue it on or form it out of plastic and stick it in whenever we want.
All these things can enhance our natural beauty or make us look more beautiful but what about the inside? Do you put as much effort to make the inside glow as beautiful as the outside?
How are we cultivating our inner beauty? Are we a joy to be around or a walking tale of woes and sorrows? Do we smile at laugh or frown at everything? Do we let stress get the better of us? Does everything have to be our way or no ones happy? How quick are you to forgive someone for hurting you? Do you feel that the world against you all the time? Are you constantly angry all the time?
Do you speak positively to yourself or are you your worst critic? How happy are you?
I know these are a lot of questions but its necessary sometimes to ask yourself these questions and do a self check on your heart and how you are feeling. Feelings drives many of our actions. If you don’t believe me, when was the last time you wanted to punch someone (sibling, stranger or otherwise) because they did or said something that made you feel good? Not likely because harming someone comes when you are feeling angry.
How many times have you told yourself you don’t feel like doing something so you didn’t do it? How many times have you felt angry because of some circumstances or something said and you made a decision based on that feeling? How many times have we said and done things in anger only to regret it when we calm down? Feelings are important and it’s not natures way of making women impractical and men rational because men have feelings too but many won’t admit to feeling them opting instead to mask, ignore or deny their existence but they too are and often times are swayed by their feelings. Many just don’t want to admit it.
I believe its important every once in a while to evaluate what you are feeling then ask yourself why you are feeling that way. Once you’ve discovered the answer than ask yourself if your feelings are justified or if there is a bigger picture and other forces at work contributing to the situation surrounding the cultivation of those feelings. You will be surprised what you come up with.
Another good way is to write it down then read it out loud. You might just laugh at what you wrote and what you were feeling!
