Sometimes it takes seeing someone who is worse off than you to make you realize maybe you don’t have it so bad.

A simple late night trip to the grocery store turned into an opportunity to make someone feel better and hopefully restore their faith in humanity. Their gratitude was genuine and it touched me.

I’ve heard it said before. If you want to feel better about yourself do something for someone else. Fill a need for someone else and God will fill a need for you. I pray for that young man. He seemed genuine, and in need.

Have you ever tested this principle? I feel better about all the things that were swirling around in my head today and to think all it took was a late night snack craving and some time on my hands for some yogurt. lol
